Don’t get flustered when Kansas seemingly makes every shot it hoists toward the rim.

Stay together.

There’s still 20 minutes of ball left, and if you’re Iowa State ...

And, oh, what a closing half it was.

First, top-ranked Oklahoma. Now, fourth-ranked Kansas, this win 85-72, on a second Big Monday in a row at Hilton Coliseum.

Anyone up for a third?

Well, Super Tuesday against West Virginia will have to suffice. And a Big 12/SEC Challenge trip to No. 5 Texas A&M in between.

“Iowa State is really good,” Jayhawks coach Bill Self said.

The Cyclones are so good that they’re the only Big 12 squad that has beaten a Self-coached Kansas team four times during a five-meeting stretch — and that’s impressive, considering Kansas has won or shared the past 11 Big 12 Conference titles.

“They changed their defensive mindset in the second half,” Cyclones coach Steve Prohm said of his guys.
